The OBZERV CONSOLE was designed in a WindowsTM XP environment, combined with the touchscreen physical interface, for quick and easy access to the most common functions. The user interface has been carefully designed to fully exploit the capabiilities of active imaging, while keeping the burden on the operator to a minimum, so that he will concentrate on the observation task. standard PC connectors to add a mouse, a keyboard and other such standard peripherals are located on the back.
The ARGC software is especially made for the touchscreen, displaying fingertip-sized buttons and sliders for fine-tuning, but can also be used with a mouse. The computer is inside the console, making it a compact, yet complete system.
The Obzerv cameras use a touchscreen computer to present the video and other data to the operator. A touchscreen optimized graphic user interface implements sliders to adjust brightness, zoom and focus. An horizontal slider located in the sensors dock window adjusts the position of the range gate and its depth. Diagnostics can also be called up at the touch of a button.
